Race description
Atinge Omu is a mountain running race in the Bucegi Mountains, along the Peștera - Vf. Omu - Peștera route. The event takes place in the first ten days of June, when the landscape is dominated by ridges tinged red with rhododendron. The race offers runners a combination of intensity and natural beauty, and at the finish participants are treated to grilled bulz and jintiță. It is an authentic mountain experience, starting at the Peștera cable car, with a friendly, traditional atmosphere.
