BURDUF CHALLENGE Alergăm pentru brânză și colibe!

Burduf Challenge is a mountain running race held in Râu Sadului, Sibiu, on 18 July 2026. The event features three races on scenic subalpine routes with significant elevation gain, for adults as well as children and teenagers. Participation supports the Țara Colibelor project through a donation included in the entry fee, and after the race runners are invited to a brunch featuring local products. The event promotes ecotourism and the preservation of mountain cultural heritage in the Cindrel and Lotrului Mountains.

Race bib pickup is from 06:30 to 07:30, the technical briefing is at 07:45, the adult race starts at 09:00, and the children’s race starts at 11:00. Hydration stations are available every 5 km along the route. Parking is available at the school in the village centre and in the Beberani area, approximately 100 m from the start. After the race, participants are invited to a brunch featuring local products, and the entry fee includes a donation of 50 lei to support the Țara Colibelor project. mountain routes, online registration, donation included, post-race brunch
