Race description
Cozia Mountain Run is a mountain running competition held in the Cozia Massif, on the left bank of the Olt River, in the spa resort of Călimănești-Căciulata. The event, organized by the Pegas Triathlon Club Association with the support of local authorities, promotes mountain running, local traditions, and fundraising for humanitarian causes. Participants cover three challenging, unmarked mountain routes that require experience and mountain skills. The atmosphere is friendly and energizing, and after the race, all runners are invited to a lunch at the Turnu Monastery.

Additional information
Number distribution takes place in two stages: Friday evening and Saturday morning. The start for the Cozia (30 km) and Stănișoara (21 km) routes is at 08:00, and for the Turnu (4 km) route at 09:00. There is an 8-hour time limit for the Cozia and Stănișoara routes. The children's race is held at the Turnu Monastery Camping with a start at 16:00, and registration for children is free. After the race, all participants are invited to a lunch after the Holy Liturgy at the Turnu Monastery. Mountain routes, 8-hour time limit, for participants over 18 years old, emphasizing running and hiking, promoting the natural and cultural beauty of the area.
