CugiRace

CugiRace is a mountain running competition held in Poiana cu Goruni, Cugir, offering events for all levels of preparation: ultramarathon, half marathon, 10 km cross, and a children's race. The routes are varied, with significant elevation differences, providing a challenging and scenic experience in the Cugir Mountains. The event promotes outdoor activity and a healthy lifestyle, being dedicated to both experienced runners and those looking to transition to ultramarathon. The atmosphere is friendly and supported by careful organization and dedicated volunteers.

Wave starts: Ultramarathon at 07:00, Half marathon at 09:00, Cross at 09:30, Children's race at 12:00. Multiple refreshment points along the routes. Technical briefings are held before the starts. After the race, a Gulaș Party and awards ceremony are organized for all events. Time limits and safety rules are communicated and enforced. The routes include trails, forests, hills, and areas with beautiful natural scenery. Mountain trails, trail running event, various events for different levels, promoting outdoor movement.
