Dălhăuți Trail Challenge

Dălhăuți Trail Challenge is a mountain running competition taking place on April 19, 2026, in the village of Dălhăuți, Vrancea County. The event is organized by the Velopower Sports Association and promotes running on varied terrain, including forest trails and forestry roads. Participants can enjoy a well-marked course with checkpoints and a friendly atmosphere, rounded out by an awards ceremony and a traditional lunch at the finish. The start is scheduled for 10:00, after a technical briefing and a coffee-fueled warm-up. The event emphasizes socializing and promoting exercise in nature.

Check-in and race-pack pickup between 08:00 and 09:30. Last-minute registration is available for only 20 spots, without a starter kit, for a fee of 250 lei. Mandatory equipment for the races: mobile phone, clearly visible race bib, liquid container (minimum 0.5 liters) for the 21 km race, and a survival blanket. Champions’ lunch of beans with sausages after the runners finish. Awards ceremony at 14:30. The event ends at 16:00 with group photos and socializing. The course includes trail terrain, registration details, the event schedule, and post-race activities.
