EcoRun Moieciu ~ 2026

EcoRun Moieciu is a top mountain running event in Romania, held in Moieciu de Sus. The race includes Marathon, Semi, and Cross categories, as well as a race for children, EcoKids. The routes are composed of approximately 90% forest roads and mountain trails, offering an authentic outdoor running experience with spectacular scenery and a passionate community. The event promotes sustainable practices and takes place annually in May, bringing together runners of all levels.

The start for the Cross and Marathon will be given in two waves, at 9:00 and 9:15, depending on the estimated time at registration. Marathon participants will start at 9:00, with the time displayed on their bib. There is a relaxation area and Pasta Party after the race at Vlahia Inn. EcoKids races have separate starts by age categories starting at 15:00. Registrations for the main races open on March 8, 2026, and close on May 1, 2026, subject to availability. Mountain routes, activities such as pasta party and floral ceremonies, with an emphasis on sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
