FAGARAS ROCKS!

Făgăraș Rocks! is a mountain running event offering a unique experience on spectacular trails in the Făgăraș Mountains, with majestic scenery and impressive panoramas. The routes total approximately 184 km, include multiple peaks above 2,500 m and more than 50 km of running at altitudes above 2,000 m, and are run in semi-autonomous conditions. The event includes several races of varying distances, for experienced runners as well as younger participants and amateurs, with a friendly atmosphere and related activities for participants and their families. The organizers provide facilities such as aid stations, medical assistance, a hot meal on the course, finisher medals, and cash prizes for the mountain races.

Participants receive a personalized race bib (non-personalized bibs after July 15), live satellite tracking for #TheWildTruth, a hot meal on the course for #TheWildTruth, engraved stone finisher medals, a superlight technical shirt for the first 300 entrants in the main races, ITRA & UTMB points for finishers, Q&A sessions and themed workshops, aid and hydration stations, medical assistance, photo albums with selfie identification, parking for 360 cars, massage tents, and post-race feedback. Multiple route categories, information about camping and parking; the event includes an ultra and a skyrace.
