Fagaras Rocks ~ 2026

Făgăraș Rocks! is a mountain running event held in semi-autonomous format, offering a unique experience on spectacular trails in the Făgăraș Mountains, with majestic landscapes and impressive panoramas. The routes total approximately 184 km, reach peaks over 2,500 m, and include 50 km of running at elevations above 2,000 m. The event features several races of varying distances and difficulty levels, for experienced runners as well as younger participants and amateurs. Participants receive a comprehensive registration package, with services and amenities designed to make the experience complete and safe.

The participation package includes a personalized race bib (for registrations by July 15), live satellite tracking for the #TheWildTruth race, cash prizes for the mountain races, a hot meal on the course for #TheWildTruth, a stone-engraved finisher medal, a superlight technical singlet for the first 300 registrants in the main races, ITRA & UTMB points for finishers, Q&A sessions and themed workshops, medical assistance, refreshment and hydration points, parking for 360 cars, massage tents, and post-race feedback. The event includes camping and parking, along with details about the competition schedule, and offers an opportunity to experience a mountain adventure and discover the area’s natural beauty.
