GLS Night Cross Challenge ~ 2026

Night Cross Challenge powered by GLS is the most beautiful night cross-country race in Romania, reaching its 12th edition in 2026. The event takes place at the Open Air Museum in Dumbrava Sibiului, offering participants a unique running experience on marked trails after dark. There are races for adults over distances of 4.5 km and 9 km, as well as races for children over distances of 500 m, 1000 m, and 1300 m. The competition is open to all age categories between 5 and 75 years old, with prizes for the winners of the open category in the 9 km race.

The maximum number of participants is limited: 150 for children's races, 300 for the 4.5 km race, and 300 for the 9 km race. Kit pickup is done after signing a liability waiver, which will be sent via email and must be signed and brought when collecting the kit. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in 22 male and female categories. The event includes outdoor trail races, awards for the best, and takes place at locations such as the Open Air Museum, the Zoo, and Astra Museum. Registrations are made online, and the event promises an energetic and fun experience.
