LATERAL Mures 24H ~ 2026

Lateral Mures 24H is an endurance sports event organized by the Mureș Runners Association, held in the heart of nature on the Cornești Plateau in Târgu Mureș. The competition includes 24-hour events for MTB and trail running, both individual and team categories, as well as a 12-hour running race and a 10.5 km loop race. The course is a loop approximately 10.5 km long with a elevation gain of 215 meters, mostly through the forest, clearly marked during the day and with reflective signs at night. The event promotes team spirit, endurance, and passion for outdoor activity.

The event includes 24-hour MTB and trail running races for individuals and 4-member relay teams, a 12-hour individual race, and a 10.5 km loop race. The time limit for completing a loop is 2 hours for MTB and 3 hours for running. Participants can store their personal equipment in tents at the start/finish area. Rankings are based on the distance covered within the allocated time. The event features multiple categories, awards for the best performers, and takes place in the natural environment of the Cornești Plateau, Târgu Mureș.
