.msg The Apuseni Marathon is an emblematic mountain running event held in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains, offering varied routes for all tastes and experience levels. Participants can choose between ultramarathon, marathon, half marathon, cross, and a family race, enjoying scenic landscapes, shaded trails, spectacular ridges, and traditional villages. The event celebrates 15 years of tradition and community, organized by the Romanian Alpine Club Cluj Branch, with a friendly and festive atmosphere. It is a unique opportunity to run in nature, test your limits, and connect with other mountain running enthusiasts.

Ultramarathon start at 05:00. Technical briefings for ultramarathon, marathon, half marathon, and cross on the morning of the race. Kit handovers in the days prior and on race day. Related events for families and children throughout the day. The Family race has differentiated starts by age categories. The event also includes a DJ party after the awards ceremony. Participants can choose from multiple trail running distances, and the event promotes ecological and reforestation initiatives in the Apuseni Mountains area.
