Maraton Bate Toaca

Bate Toaca Marathon is an annual mountain race held in the Durău area, NT, part of the Carpathians Circuit. The event offers two main routes: the Dochia Race of 18 km with an elevation gain of approximately 1500 m and the Bate Toaca Race of 31 km with an elevation gain of approximately 2700 m. The routes pass through spectacular landscapes, including Dochia Cabin, Lespezi Peak, and Toaca Peak, providing an authentic and challenging mountain experience for runners. Organizers ensure a friendly atmosphere and good logistics for participants.

The routes are well marked with different symbols and include ascents and descents on stairs at Toaca Peak. Bate Toaca Race is part of the Carpathians Circuit.
