RotaRun 2026

RotaRun for Charity is a sports and charity event organized by Rotary Club Cluj-Napoca, combining running with community involvement to support children with cancer. The event on 25 April 2026 aims to complete the renovation of the Pediatric Oncology Department at the “Prof. Dr. Ion Chiricuță” Oncology Institute in Cluj-Napoca. Participants can choose from several races, ranging from a 3 km run to a 2-hour race, all held along the Someș Promenade, with the start and finish near the “Horia Demian” Sports Hall. All funds collected from registration fees go directly to the charity project.

T-shirt size is guaranteed for registrations made by 10 April 2026; after that, sizes are allocated while supplies last. Participants receive a race number and timing chip, access to hydration and refreshment stations, and photos at the start/finish and along the route. The top three male and female finishers in each event will be awarded prizes in both the Open and age categories. The event supports the renovation of the Pediatric Oncology Department; details about the route and registration are expected to be announced soon.
