Semimaraton Iași

Iași Half Marathon is the largest running event in northeastern Romania, held annually in the Palace of Culture Square. The half-marathon course consists of two loops that pass through the start area, giving runners a unique experience on the city’s main streets, with road traffic stopped and refreshment points along the way. The event has a strong charitable component, supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds through educational and social projects. Taking part in the half-marathon, cross-country races and fun runs is an opportunity to do good and join a community committed to positive change.

Participants in the half-marathon, 10 km cross-country and 5 km cross-country races receive a disposable timing chip and a technical event T-shirt. Registration is available online until the deadline; after that, subject to availability, participants can register in person at the Iași Half Marathon kiosk in Palas Mall. Registration is not available on race day. The event provides an ambulance for medical assistance and plenty of photos at the finish and along the course. Participation includes hydration points, medical assistance, a race kit, and the option to participate online or in person. The event is charitable, supporting projects for disadvantaged children.
