Sighișoara 10K

Sighișoara 10K is a running race offering a unique experience through the heart of the medieval citadel of Sighișoara, combining sport with the discovery of the city’s historic treasures. The event includes 10K and 5K races, a children’s race, and an Up Stairs challenge, and is open to all age groups and fitness levels. Participants can enjoy a vibrant, energetic course, cash prizes, and a raffle for all runners. The race is held in memory of Dr. Stelian Larga, a cardiologist and citizen actively involved in the city’s sporting and cultural life.

All participants in the 5K and 10K races are automatically entered into the prize raffle. The race kit includes a race number, timing chip, and products provided by sponsors. The technical T-shirt can be ordered as an add-on during registration for 119 lei. Kit pickup is recommended on Saturday, 6 September, but is also possible on race morning. There are 5 age categories for the 10K and 7 categories for the 5K. Cash prizes and medals are offered by the main partner, AS World Cargo. Appeals may be submitted to the designated jury members within 15 minutes after finishing. The course includes areas of the city’s historic centre, with the chance to win cash prizes and medals, as well as the option to purchase a personalised technical T-shirt.
