Race description
Trascău Trail Run is a mountain race offering three events: marathon, half marathon, and cross-country, held in scenic landscapes around Rimetea, Alba. The routes pass through spectacular locations such as Piatra Secuiului, Cetatea Colțești, Cheile Plaiului, and Huda lui Papară Cave, providing a mountain running experience with significant elevation changes and impressive views. The event is organized by the Green & Wild Association and emphasizes adventure in nature and local heritage. Participants benefit from hydration and nutrition points, medals, and prizes, and registrations are limited and done online.
Highlights

Limited spots: 100 for the marathon, 250 for the half marathon, 200 for the cross-country. Race kits are distributed in Cluj-Napoca and Rimetea. Technical briefings are held before the start for each event. Medals are awarded only to those who finish within the time limit. Participants are automatically entered into the post-award raffle, with attendance mandatory for the draw.
