Ultra Race Romania

Ultra Race Romania is a unique long-distance running race covering 250 km over 6 stages, in a self-sufficient format, exploring the unspoiled wilderness, culture, and history of the Siriu area in Buzău. Participants will tackle a challenging route in the Carpathian Mountains, with legendary landscapes and places steeped in local stories and mysteries. After finishing the race, runners are invited to stay for two days to discover Romania’s traditions, cuisine, and famous tourist attractions, such as Peleș Castle and Bran Castle. The event emphasizes the experience of a lifetime, lasting friendships, and the joy of being part of this extraordinary adventure.

The race is self-sufficient, with tent accommodation during the 6 stages. Medical assistance, water at checkpoints and camps, hot meals, bus transportation before and after the race, finisher medals, and T-shirts are provided. After the race, a 2-day cultural tour of Brașov, Bran, and Sinaia is organized, with hotel accommodation and meals included. SPOT satellite live tracking is available for competitors. Participants must be prepared for wilderness conditions, with mandatory equipment and strict safety rules; the event also includes a cultural excursion after the race.
