Race description
Via Transilvanica Marathon 2026 is a sporting event that celebrates the unique nature and heritage of Romania, held along the Via Transilvanica route. The marathon offers a challenge of 39.3 km with an elevation gain of 1292 meters, crossing forest roads, villages, and panoramic landscapes. Participants enjoy a friendly atmosphere, with well-organized control and hydration points, as well as activities dedicated to children. The event is organized by the Țășuleasa Social Association, which promotes volunteering and respect for nature.
