Wings for Life World App Run : Oradea

Wings for Life World Run is a unique global race for runners and wheelchair participants, with no fixed finish line. Participants run to stay ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car, which starts 30 minutes after the race begins and gradually increases its speed until everyone is caught. The event in Oradea, Romania, on 10 May 2026, takes place on a 1.7 km paved circuit in the heart of the Nokian Tyres factory. All entry fees and donations go entirely toward spinal cord injury research.

The event is accessible to wheelchair participants. The start is simultaneous worldwide, and the Virtual Catcher Car begins the chase 30 minutes after the start at an initial speed of 14 km/h, increasing gradually. 100% of entry fees and donations go toward spinal cord injury research projects. Participants can run any distance, with no fixed finish line, and can register through the app. Participants can run individually or in groups, and all funds raised go toward spinal cord injury research.
