ASCOTID Trail Race

ASCOTID Trail Race is an annual trail running competition held in the Cornești Plateau area of Târgu Mureș. The event promotes physical activity for all age groups and was initiated by the Mureș Association of Children and Young People with Diabetes (ASCOTID). The courses include a half marathon, 10 km and 5 km races, as well as races for children and families, offering an accessible yet challenging experience due to the elevation changes. Participants can enjoy beautiful natural surroundings and a friendly atmosphere, with a social and health-focused purpose.

Online registration is open until 14 September 2026. After this date, registration is available only on the day before or on race day, without a participation kit. The entry fee can be paid by bank card or bank transfer, and registration is validated within 3 working days after payment is confirmed. Participants may transfer their place to another competitor if they withdraw. Changing events is possible for an additional fee of 50 lei until 16 September 2026. The children’s and family events have short distances and adjusted time limits. Online registration is open until 15 September 2024, with on-site registration possible after that date; the event includes several race categories, and details about fees and registration procedures are available on the website.
