Maratonul Târnavei

Târnava Marathon is a trail-running event organized by the Târnăveni Cycling Association in collaboration with Ruck Ventilatoare, held in the municipality of Târnăveni, Mureș County. Now in its 10th edition, the marathon promotes a healthy lifestyle and running in nature, aiming to improve environmental education and raise awareness of the benefits of outdoor sports. The start and finish are located on the premises of Ruck Ventilatoare, and the competition offers several trail-running courses for all ages and levels. The event brings together a community of athletes passionate about running and respect for the environment.

Race kits can be collected on the day before and on race day, on the premises of the Ruck Ventilatoare factory. A fitness instructor leads a warm-up before the start. Children’s races are organized by age group. After the competition, there is a Gulaș Party, a concert, and an awards ceremony. Participants can choose from the 21 km, 10 km, and 4 km courses, as well as children’s races, with activities including kit collection, races, and awards ceremonies.
