RotaRUN for Charity

RotaRUN for Charity is a sports and charity event organized by Rotary Club Cluj-Napoca, combining running with community involvement to support the renovation of the Pediatric Oncology Department at the „Prof. Dr. Ion Chiricuță” Oncology Institute in Cluj-Napoca. The event on April 25, 2026, includes 3 km and 9 km races and a 2-hour race, giving participants the opportunity to run for a good cause and help create a modern, welcoming environment for children with cancer. Participants receive a race kit with a T-shirt, race bib, and timing chip, as well as access to hydration and refreshment stations. All funds raised from entry fees go toward completing the renovation of the Pediatric Oncology Department.

T-shirt size is guaranteed for registrations made by April 10, 2026; after that date, sizes will be allocated in registration order, subject to availability. Participants receive a race bib and timing chip, and access to hydration and refreshment stations offering sweet and savory foods, isotonic drinks, and supplements. The top three male and female finishers in each race will be awarded, both in the Open category and by age group. The event also supports the purchase of modern furniture and medical equipment for the Pediatric Oncology Department, as a community fundraising and awareness project.
