Budureasa Mountain Running

Budureasa Mountain Running is a mountain running race organized by ACS Bihorul Oradea in partnership with the Budureasa Town Hall and the Local Council. The event includes two main categories: Eco Cross 8 km and Cross 16 km, dedicated to endurance runners aged at least 14 years. The routes start and end in front of the Budureasa Cultural Center, offering a mountain experience with ascents and descents on stone roads, trail, and asphalt. Along the course, there are revitalization points with water, isotonic drinks, and fruits. Participation is open to all capable runners, with special conditions for minors under 18.

Participation confirmation is done on Saturday between 16:00 - 20:00 or on race day between 8:00 - 10:30 at the Budureasa Cultural Center. Technical meeting on Saturday 09.05.2026 between 19:00 - 19:30 and on race day at 10:00. There are 3 revitalization points along the route for the 16 km Cross and 1 point for the 8 km Eco Cross with water, isotonic drinks, and fruits. Registrations are only valid after payment of the fee, and changes or cancellations can only be made in writing until 26.04.2026. Athletes suspended for doping are not allowed to participate. The route may be modified due to weather conditions; online registration is open until May 3, 2026, with on-site registration also possible; restrictions apply for minors; anti-doping rules are enforced.
