Budureasa Mountain Running

Budureasa Mountain Running is a mountain running race organized by ACS Bihorul Oradea in partnership with Budureasa Town Hall and the Local Council. The event includes two main races: the 8 km Eco Cross and the 16 km Cross, intended for endurance runners aged 14 and over. The routes start and finish in front of the Budureasa Cultural Center, offering a mountain experience with climbs and descents on gravel roads, trails, and paved roads. Refreshment points along the course provide water, isotonic drinks, and fruit. The race is open to all runners who are fit to participate, with special conditions for participants under 18.

Race check-in takes place on Saturday from 16:00 to 20:00 or on race day from 8:00 to 10:30 at the Budureasa Cultural Center. The technical briefing is on Saturday, 09.05.2026, from 19:00 to 19:30, and on race day at 10:00. There are 3 refreshment points on the 16 km Cross course and 1 on the 8 km Eco Cross course, providing water, isotonic drinks, and fruit. Registrations are validated only after payment of the entry fee, and changes or cancellations can be made in writing only until 26.04.2026. Athletes suspended for doping are not eligible to participate. The route may be modified due to weather conditions; online registration is open until 3 May 2026, and registration may also be available on site; restrictions apply to minors; anti-doping rules apply.
