Mogoșa Race

Mogoșa Race is an annual mountain running competition held in September, starting from Mogoșa Domain, Baia Sprie, Maramureș. The event offers varied routes, from 4 km accessible to all participants, to an engaging 11 km course, and a 21 km half marathon designed for experienced runners, with challenging ascents and technical descents. The race promotes an active lifestyle and the discovery of the natural beauty of the Mogoșa area, in a vibrant and community atmosphere. The organizer is the Baia Mare in Motion Association, which supports physical activity and health in the community.

GPX maps of the routes are available for download. There are also races dedicated to children and families (Family Race) and a 4 km race accessible to everyone (Mogosa Fun Run). The event is organized by the Baia Mare in Motion Association, which promotes a healthy and active lifestyle.
