Veverița Night Run

Veverița Night Run is a night mountain running race in Bukovina, held in the town of Vatra Dornei. The event offers two medium difficulty races, 12 km and 22 km, on predominantly mountain trail routes, with forest sections and open meadows. The start and finish are at the base of the Veverița slope, and the route reaches Vârful Diecilor, at an altitude of 1301 meters. Participants must be prepared for mountain running at night, with appropriate equipment, including a headlamp and mobile phone.

Participants must have a mobile phone with a charged battery and a headlamp with spare batteries. Equipment for adverse weather conditions, such as a long-sleeve shirt or waterproof poncho, is mandatory. There are hydration points and two feeding stations, at the start and at Vârful Diecilor. Medical assistance is provided by mountain rescuers, with no stationary ambulance at the start/finish. The participation fee is non-refundable in case of withdrawal. Registration becomes valid after payment confirmation.
