TRASCĂU TRAIL RUN

Trascău Trail Run is a mountain race offering three events: a marathon, a half marathon, and a cross-country race, set amid the picturesque landscapes around Rimetea, Alba. Participants will explore the natural beauty of the Trascău Mountains on routes featuring challenging climbs, forests, gorges, and spectacular viewpoints. The event focuses on the experience of running in nature, combining physical challenges with storybook scenery and local heritage. The organizers provide hydration and refreshment stations, medals for those who finish within the time limit, and prizes for the top competitors.

Registration is free for people with disabilities. Places are limited: 100 for the marathon, 250 for the half marathon, and 200 for the cross-country race. Race kits are distributed in Cluj-Napoca and Rimetea in the days before the race. There are technical briefings for each event before the start. Medals are awarded only to those who finish within the time limit. Participants are automatically entered into the raffle held after the awards ceremony; attendance is required for the draw.
